WB witnesses 47.29% voter turnout by 1 PM in second phase polling

  • Second phase of Lok Sabha Elections 2024 underway in 88 constituencies across 13 states and UTs
  • Polling began at 7 am and will continue until 5 pm
  • By 1 PM, West Bengal records a turnout of 47.29%

Polling began today in 88 parliamentary constituencies across 13 states and Union Territories, marking the second phase of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. The voting process commenced at 7 am and will continue until 5 pm, with an additional hour provided for voters already in line by the Election Commission.

In West Bengal, by 1 PM, a significant turnout was observed with 47.29% of voters exercising their franchise.
